WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
Having worked as a heavy diesel mechanic John Fotheringhame opened up his earthmoving business in Katikati back in 1992. His experience as a hands-on mechanic proved itself useful to solving his customers’ challenges and meant he was able to get the company off the ground and where it is today.
Over the years, Fotheringhame Contractors Katikati has established itself as the trusted and leading earthmoving contractors in the Western Bay of Plenty and Hauraki District. The family business has grown a lot over the years, with a range of projects across contracting, transport and cartage, as well as specialised engineering.
Throughout the years, we’ve always stayed true to our values of trust and loyalty. It’s something that’s a part of every project we do, whether its a residential driveway, or a large-scale subdivision. We see our customers as partners, take time to understand your challenges and evolve the best solution.
